Design is everywhere—and interior design majors develop fundamental skills in the principles and elements of design, drafting, concept development and visual presentation skills. You’ll learn how to shape different environments that affect where we live and work. Through interior design theory and practical, hands-on projects, you’ll develop the creativity, knowledge and design skills to envision and construct great spaces.

Our Faculty

What Sets Us Apart
You’ll learn by doing. TCU’s Center for Lighting Education is a unique on-campus facility that gives students the ability to mock up design vignettes to evaluate the impact of lighting.
And you’ll step outside the classroom to turn your ideas into action. All interior design students complete an internship between the third and fourth year in the program, and many are hired at the companies where they interned.
